Services - Domain Registration

A domain name is a unique name that identifies a site on the internet. Our domain name is www.mottdesigns.com. The first step in setting up a website is to acquire a domain name through an accredited registrar. There are hundreds of accredited registrars listed at www.icann.org. We provide registration services through a few of the larger and more established registrars. Smaller registrars are more likely to go out of business or get acquired by others. We like to avoid the problems associated with having the domain transferred from one registrar to another.

There is a one-time setup fee for the name search and setting up the account with the registrar. The setup fee also includes renewal notification. We will notify you prior to the expiration date so that you will not lose ownership of your domain name.

Basic domain registration is provided through a reputable bulk registrar and the Premium domain registration is provided through Network Solutions.
